XR650L Tool Kit. (Or lack thereof)

I just picked up my new 07 XR650L. They are blowing them out to make way for the 08’s. I noticed there wasn’t a basic tool kit included and the dealer says they don’t come with one. The owner’s manual says they do. I called American Honda and they said there wasn’t supposed to be one included. I told them the page in the owner’s manual that said otherwise. They are supposed to call me back.

Anyone else buy one recently and they DID get a tool kit?

my buddy got his 07 xrl 3 mths ago with no tools. my 05 came with em. any 06's out there? come with or without?

I think most people who have bought the new versions of the L have said the same thing...no tool kit. ? Seems to have started happening with the 07s. That's if you want to call what they previously supplied a "tool kit". I suppose you can demand one, after all, you're shelling out some bucks there. The best thing is to get your own quality tools.

When I got my 07 same thing no tool kit or manual , went right back to the dealer and said give me and they did .....? on
