Name that jet.

Hi folks. Can anyone tell me what the unnamed jet in the lower right hand corner is? This set was supplied with my new 07.

I need to do some more reading on what people are finding works in the 07s. But for my area (~300ft, say avg. 70F) this combo looks to be too far on the rich to start dialing in with.

Starter jet?

It's the Pilot Air Jet. It goes in the little hole on the airbox side of the carb bell...SC

I should have put a ? behind my response. I thought 110 was a bit large for the starter. Way too many jets in these carbs.

The WR does not have that jet. It's for the YZ.

The rest is what I installed in my '07 and it seems to work real nice so far..

Thanks SC!? There are at least two drawings of the PAJ in the service manual. The smaller, less detailed of the two looks a match. Another, larger picture seems different.

I have all winter ahead of me to do more research and the mods. Probably wishfull thinking that the first carb change will be the last. The book recommends removal of tank, seat, side covers, muffler, drain coolant and remove tank, a bunch of hoses, and rear shock. Oh well I need a heavier rear spring anyway. And I'll feel better knowing everything is greased up properly.

You may be right. I don't see a main air jet in service manual.

i'm suprised the '07 wr didn't have it, my '03 wr does.

The 07 WR does have a Pilot Air Jet. It is a #70.

You are correct, it has a pilot air jet, but does not have a Main air jet.
