Did you do the injector relocation? -
^^^This. I took pictures of both sides and it came in very helpful. When taking off the power valve keeper pin make sure you put something underneath it so it doesn't drop down into your case....not that I have any experience with that 😉

A few years back I sold my CA plated 2007 WR450 and the new owner didn’t have any problems transferring the plate. This is not an endorsement, just an example of it being successful. -

Yes, that’s what I did with my 21 300. AZ DMV doesn’t talk to CA DMV so CA didn’t know I registered it in AZ. I ran the red sticker when I didn’t need the plate, then put the plate on when needed. Thinking about doing the same thing with my 23 300XCW.

Spent 3 days up by Yosemite riding. We rented a house for the 9 of us. Had 15 on Saturdays ride which had some rain in the morning which made conditions perfect. So much fun doing it again in 3 weeks 🤗🤗

I don't have to push the button to re-connect the fittings. Like you do, I put my fingers behind the connection coming from the throttle body and push on the connector from the tank. It just snaps in.
