Hey guys I recently blew a head gasket on my 426 and I'm rebuilding it and I want to put a temp sensor on it to better watch my temp and a tach/hour meter and possibly a speedometer I was wondering if they make a product with all these on one screen that's some what affordable? Mainly I want hour temp and tach but I feel like a speedo would be cool just to know how fast I'm goin... So to the main question is it even possible to do a speedo on a yz426?
Oh and another question what's the most accurate temp sensor? The one that splices into the water line or the spark plug kind

Look into a Trailtech Vapor. I just bought the stealth version off of ebay and I am waiting for it to arrive, It has a tach, inline water temp sensor, speedo and hour meter. Here is a link.

But how dose it hook up? Where dose it hook up to tell you what your speed is? Is it a GPS thing or dose it hook to the bike some where?

Sorry that was the wrong one, its the 75-200 that you want. Link Here. And here is the instructions. You will need a pdf reader to open the instructions. The unit can be powered by either the internal battery, an external battery or hooked up to the stator. All these are outlined in the instructions. For speed you replace one of your brake rotor bolts with the supplied bolt (it has a magnet inside it) and install the sensor somewhere that the bolt will pass by. Temperature is also easy to install, you need to drain the coolant and cut one of the rad lines and install temp sensor inline and then just tighten the clamps and refill with coolant. For rpm the easiest way is to wrap the supplied rpm wire around the spark plug wire.
