Just finished loading up the Team Dad and Lad YZs for the last event of the NHCA speed hillclimb season at Hartland on Sunday. A bit low key compared to you guys with Motovans or Winnebagos. My 33 year old trailer hauled behind the 1996 Toyota Granvia with campervan conversion has to do for us.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with your set-up.You should be pleased with what you have.Team Dad and Lad YZ's seem's like a combo anyone would be proud of.I alway's liked the saying,RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG.Hope you both have/had a great time.

Thanks Alan48. The Granvia is big enough for us to sleep in comfort at events a long way from home (the lad goes up in the pop up roof) but small enough that I can drive it round during the week and park it on a standard supermarket car park space. It's also 4WD so getting on and off muddy grass paddocks is easy.
We had a great time. I got 4th 250 and he got 2nd despite only being on a 125. There is no 125 class, just that under 16s are restricted to 80-125cc bikes. He has done very well this season and so takes the award for second in the 250 NHCA championship as well as winning the Junior championship. Here he is in action yesterday. He's looking forward to riding the 250 and my 450 next year and i already have my list of preparation work he would like done. He is pretty competent with a spanner already so he will be helping out .

Awesome set-up and news. Glad you both had a good time. I cannot wait until my oldest little guy (4 yrs old) gets a little better on his pw50. He will be coming with me every time I go out!
