I have a 99 400 and my kickstarter seems alot more sensitive to movement than my 98 400. When my boot or pantleg rubs the kickstarter it makes a grinding noise. I know the noise is normal but how do I keep from moving it when I ride. Does this cause any harm? I have the kickstarter adjusted as far back as I can go without hitting the frame. The knuckle on the starter is very tight so it is not a matter of it hanging out farther than it should. It would however be nice if it tucked in a little farther than stock. THANKS GUYS
