Hardtail KZ440

Hey Everyone - I just picked up a 81 KZ440 LTD and I plan to turn her into a hard tail. I have seen some post on here on the XS 650 but didnt know if anyone had ever done anything with the KZ. I picked it up dirt cheap from a guy who couldn't get spark from it. After I tore it down and stared to look at everything it seems that there has been some major electrical "work" done and may be the problem for the lack of spark. anyways since its going to be taken apart i was think about just running all new wires and ditching the extra electrical that is not needed.

Does anyone know a place to find universal parts?

This is my first street project as I'm usually an off road guy but I'm starting to get sick of finding myself on the ground and love the look of the homemade bobber

You can check chopcult.com for ideas for your bobber. They have a Jap section just for bike like yours. Can't wait to see some pics man!
