This is weird and it just started. When I kick start my bike the kickstarter stays down. Even when I kick it through for clearing out the cylander. I've lubed everything on the outside and there doesn't seem to be any noticable friction. The bike will start and run fine.. It's just a pain, ya know! Any ideas???

Sounds like something happened to the return spring. I would pull the side cover off and check it out before you run it. The tang which holds the spring may be floating around your gear box somewhere.

could be bad news that, so get it done quickly.

basically if you kick long and hard enogh you can damage your cases!

syptoms are; the ratcheting noise is unstoppable.

get it done asap.
