Hey im looking to purchase a 98 cbr 600 f3 with 18k miles for 2800(but i got him to drop it to 2400). I want to know if this is a decent all around bike to ride. I currently have a 98 superhawk that i may sell to my friend. Anyways whats everyone's thought on the f3?

I used to have a 96 f3 I'm 6'3 " it was one of the more comfortable crotch rockets I've ridden.  Plenty fast too....topped out at 160 MPH. And handled well... scraped pegs a couple times on sport touring tires ... reason I got rid of it was due to a near death experience... I still miss that bike.

Don't think twice. My first bike was a 94 F2. Loved that bike to death (almost literally). About 3 months of owning it I wrecked pretty good. I rebuilt it best I could and used it a few more years after that. I wound up selling it to one of my good buddies and at the time it had 25k miles on it. He rode it for a year maybe two and wound up selling my old wrecked F2 for an F4i.
