Haha, except then only experience I have on 2-strokes is like 30 minutes of seat time on a kx85 like 4 years ago when I was 15 or so.  My next bike is gonna be a 150/250sx for sure..

something like that.

Research sx season.

No reason for rd to be out there. Season is over for him.  Pack it up while he is healthy.

Bubba should hang it up then. Since he will never win another title.

Dungey never would have signed with KTM if he would have been forced to ride the 350.

Maybe for you but tell that to 800 or 29 and try to convince Dungey that it's just as good as his 450

If its so good why did KTM build a 450 in under a year for the AMA competition?
Then Dungey must ask Cairoli how good the 350 is ;)

I think 222 is an exception. He obviously fits that bike well but send wonder boy over here with that 350 and see where he finishes. After seeing his results he might be placing a call for them to send a 450 in the mail

They did send Wonder Boy to the MXON in Colorado with his 350. This was after Cairoli was quoted as saying he didn't think Dungey was as good as some MX2 riders. Dungey beat TC222 there going 1-2 to TCs 2-4 leading the USA to victory (again). Dungey made it three in a row last year finishing in 3rd in the first moto at the MXON in France while TC crashed himself out of the event.

Slight correction here. I was at Thunder Valley for the MXoN - Dungey went 1 - 1.  I think he was 4th in the qualifier on Saturday though.

Personally, with the title already won, I would pull Dungey from anymore racing this season until SX begins in January. It would suck if he blew a knee or something in a race he didn't need to be in. Same reason why Suzuki needs to keep James on the sideline until SX begins.... Too much at risk.

They can get valuable info by finishing season and racing their 450 on tracks its never been on. This is their first year, so every track is new to them and that bike. Especially adding a track like Elsinore. Dungey may be in a late season battle next year and showing up to tracks where he already has data from the prior year will be helpful.

Dungey's accomplishments get undermined even when someone (me) tries to give him credit.

Undermined?? :excuseme: Just simply correcting an error, he went 1 - 1 vs. 1 - 2, no biggie. I give RD all the credit in the world, but facts are that TC222 was a close 2nd in the very first moto, and won the qualifier (which doesn't mean squat). RD checked out in the last moto. :applause: The 350 is an awesome weapon in the right hands, but those hands are few and far between.

I was the one guilty of undermining RD's accomplishments.  Herlings on the 350 at Lommel, may have a better chance of beating RD then TC222.

Ahh, got it now, I'm a little slow sometimes. I agree, Herlings may have a better chance, but suspect he will be on a 250, don't know for sure though.

We all know how sand sucks horsepower and I am not quite sure about that 350 being able to pull the 450 of RD.  Herlings is not up to RDs level,if he were truly on the same level he would have been contesting the US AMA nationals, like or not that is where the real fast guys from around the world race!

I completely agree. Sand is Herling's strong point, so much so that some experts consider him the worlds best sand rider. He may have a chance against RD at Lommel - a track he's familiar with, but he'd have trouble finding the podium if he was racing AMA MX at this point in his career.

I was only pointing out that Herlings would have a better chance of beating RD at Lommel than TC222. I'd put my money on Dungey though.

It all depends on which experts you are talking about, KR  was beating beat Herlings at Lommel  and will again,we all know how well they keep up with RD.

Does Dungey even have any legitimate racing experience on a 2T??
