Nice report:)  Thanks for posting it.

I viewed all the vids and read the writeups.  I am getting a 450 in a day or two and noticed your review on the 250 sxf.  It sounds so crisp in the vid and am tempted to get one.

Your comment on the 450 sxf, handling like a 250, so its true of what all the reviews say?  Feels like a 250 eh?  But the 250 vid is so tempting.

If the 450 handles like a 250, why didnt you enjoy it like the 250?  Was it the weight and the hp?  I recall you mentioned you dont have a liking for 450s.

Good job!

Unless you are an A rider and of significant heft, I cannot forsee a reason someone would need or want a 450 over the 350 or 250 for MX.  Yes, the handling manners and power delivery are truly fantastic on the 450, but since it does weigh more and has more rotating mass, it just isn't quite as easy to manipulate the bike (turns and in flight) as the 350 and to an even greater extent the 250.  And because of the over abundance of power, the 450 will undoubtedly be the bike that will tire a rider the quickest.  I'd just highly recommend that anyone considering any of these bikes to really determine what they need and want in a bike and not get caught up with shear HP.  KTM makes three great 4 strokes which does complicate the decision process...and since they are all expensive, it makes "cents" to choose wisely.  Its not that you can go wrong with any selection, but you can go perfectly right with the "right" bike for you.

Nothing like getting new bike, congrats on whichever bike you get...post some pics.

Cheers!
