I installed my new HEL front brake line over the weekend, and I have it clamped at the very end of the stiff section of brake line, but it sticks out from the fork leg just like my stock brake line used it. Could someone tell me if this is normal or not? I suspect it is, since my stock one did it as well.

The SM brake line runs on the outside of the fork leg

The S and E has the brake line as above

I would pull it in more with a zip-tie or clamp.

That's how its supposed to be. There wont be a problem unless you plan on riding through heavily wooded areas on a regular basis. :smirk:

S & E brake line has to be routed around the outside of the fork leg as well if running SM wheels.  I just put Warp 9 SM wheels on my S and had to route the line around the outside of the fork, inside the fork would not work due to the 320 front rotor, it would have chewed it up in a matter of miles.  The stock S length brake line is not long enough to route it the way you would need to inside of the fork with a 320 front rotor.
