The folks at KnobbyKnife have been long-time supporters of the TT community. Recently, they offered up TEN Knobbyknife tire traction enhancing tools for give-aways and we thought that it would be even more interesting to turn their offer into a member contest.

HOW TO ENTER?

1. Reply to this topic with the following sentence: "Send me a KnobbyKnife! My <insert your tire brand/model> needs more hook!"

2. In your reply, tell the TT community why you're the guy/gal that needs a KnobbyKnife the most. Including supporting pictures and/or video will likely increase your chances of winning. Be creative so that your entry stands out!

HOW WILL THE WINNERS BE SELECTED?
There is a member "like" button associated with each post (entry), so the top 10 entries (posts) with the most likes will win. So, even if you don't chose to enter, please help KnobbyKnife pick the winners.

>>>THE "LIKE" BUTTON IS HOW YOU VOTE FOR SOMEONE<<<

Restrictions & Conditions:
- you may only enter once.
- contest ends at midnight on 08/27/12 PST.
- winners will be annouced on ThumperTalk within 72 hours of the end of the contest.

What's a KnobbyKnife? Why read when you can see!

"Send me a KnobbyKnife! My YZ250f powered MX51s needs more hook!"

My 2003 yz250f is pretty much the bike all the factory teams strive to emulate. It makes so much power that the tires spin when I dump the throttle. The front wheel even burns out in first and second! Mitch Payton asked me at Red Bud a few years ago what my secret was, of course I told him about all the monster energy drink I consume. The dude stole my idea and started the monster pro circuit team! That weasel! Anyways, my tires are always bald, and since Payton stole my pro career, I can no longer afford tires. I've resorted to hitting the streets with signs saying "will work for knobbies" written in mud. You don't even want to know what I do to get them installed...

Help me KnobbyKnife!

Send me a KnobbyKnife! My 2003 CR250 and 2001 YZ250 needs more hook!"
First off I'd like to say that these are the tires I am still running not just ones laying in the corner of the garage! The images you see may be disturbing to some! Tires at the point of death!

You Can't tell but this is a very steep hill that you need alot of hook up to get up!

And this trail is just lose boulders ( well, large rocks) and rock ledges all the way up!

Now I realize my tires as of now are past the point that KnobbyKnife could even help, but this doesn't mean my future tires can't be helped. Please like this post!

Please KnobbyKnife! Help me out!

More hook means less crashy and more ridey.

"Send me a KnobbyKnife! My Kawasaki KX450F needs more hook!"  I've been unemployed for over a year and a half but still try to make all the MRAN 50+ Desert Races with the help of friends and sponsors.  I'm having to use old tires that friends give me and the knobs are usually so rounded I don't get much traction. I think the KnobbyKnife would help me tremendously. Here's a perfect example video of the lack of traction I suffer from:

Send me a KnobbyKnife! My Maxxis M7305D needs more hook!
We have 6 bikes that we ride each riding season typically in very hard/rocky terrain. As you can imagine the tires get worn out pretty quickly and it would be nice to have a knobby knife to get a little more time out of our tires instead of buying new ones every year.

"Send me a KnobbyKnife! My YZ 125 and YZ 250F, S12's need more hook!"

Please help me out KnobbyKnife, I'm a beginning racer and I pay for everything myself (19F, In Pr-Dentristy schooling). Help a girl out! 7 years from now, (when I get my Dentistry degree) I will return the favor and fix all your teeth! (Let's hope it's not from some serious roost, because with KnobbyKnife to help keep your traction you should be out front!!)  BRAP!

"Send me a KnobbyKnife
Wow that would be great to have.... with three bikes in the garage.  2008 Honds crf450r, 2005 Honda crf250r and a 2004 Kx65.  The knobby knife would really make tires last longer.

Send me a KnobbyKnife! My <Bridgestone M404 > needs more hook!

I race NETRA harescrambles and run the 404 on the rear. I get about 2, maybe three races, then flip it around, and get maybe 2 more. After that it looks like a dog turd. With sixteen races in the season that's a minimum of four tires. And obviously I'm compromising traction racing against guys with newer tires! Send me a knobby knife!!
