Hey Slyko, for the year I have been on here you seem to prefer going to EF over GT even though Georgetown seems to be in your backyard. Why is that? Do you like EF more? Tired of GT?

If I was up your way I would be over on Trails 5 and 6 over at Forest Hill. 5 was so fun, I would love to master those.

Why Elkins?  It's all about who you ride with......

Sure,  GT is better than Elkins.  GT is better than Foresthill.  5 & 6 are grand. The WST & Devil's Thumb are great.  Chalk Bluff is nice.  Downieville is the best!  Then there is the SSS out there.  Sure there are some fantastic spots out there, but the truth be told..................................................................  it's the people.  I've ridden some pretty ridiculously shitty spots just because there were people to ride with!

Riding with Bigbob was always fun cuz he would do something completely insane every time. (Boomer & Clear Creek)  Zekedawg & Stonyford.  FLB & Horse Canyon............... I still have fond memories of riding with Dominic & Ginger. I would just go & watch!  Sure I love riding some cool spots, but it's the comradery that makes it special.

I'm not telling you anything different.  You know.

I've seen some pretty terrific rides these clubs put on.  I'm just not a joiner.  Best I can do is the weekend kind of stuff.

P.S.  I love that last pic with the metal grate ElDorado put up. Sure Mr. Appendage rode great, but it's the 30 lbs he lost that impressed me most.
