Are the OEM radiators the same on the 2006 and 2009. I just placed an order for my 08 yamaha and the radiators are from an 06. Other OEM radiators on ebay say they are for 06-08. I hope I didn't order the wrong thing.

My apologies if this is common knowledge. I searched 8 pages of threads and couldn't come up with the answer.

I am not sure, but the 08-09 radiators are junk they were manufactured in a different way, the guy at Myler's explained it to me. The 06 radiator should be much tougher according to his opinion.

So you're saying that they'll fit the same but the manufacturing was just different? I hope.

I can't say about the manufacture but the radiators are the same as to fittment but the 06 did not have the small v shaped brace in the front. Otherwise they interchange . Self serving info here but I have left side 06 rads for sale and sets of the 07-09 rads for sale. See my add in the classified section or PM me
