Hi guys.....I just ordered a top end kit from this matin and slater website http://www.motomx.com/sales.html I was just wondering if anyone else has used them or not as if the parts look good when they get here I'm considering ordering a bunch more stuff.
Specificly there clutchs as there about 1/4 the price of what I've been paying at the local dealership.
Thanx, Chris

Used them for small stuff without issue, but I really don't have much real experience with them, I am sure there are many people on here that can give them a better review.

Always by oem for the little Ktm. The only after market items. Chain sprockets bars clutch washers. Typically the product work, but not as good or nearly as long.
Depends on what year of KTM it is because KTM used the Morini Franco enginse for quite awhile and alot of the parts supplied for older ones are by Martin Slater. I have 2001 LEM and thats where I end up because there is not much to choose from for LEMs. I have purchased a gasket kit from them but not used it yet, I also purchased a new Carb from them and it has worked great on my LEM.
If your KTM 50 is newer then this may not apply.
http://morinifrancousa.com/models.htm This site has the same layout of MotoMX so they are probably partners or same owners.
my 2 cents

Just wanted to update this for anyone who is interested.....the parts seem to be great.....put the new jug, head and piston in, fire the first kick and ran amazing.........so my thought is...for the price even if they only last a year then it was money well spent.
Anyone else have any experience with these little clutchs? I found that I had to go way under the recomended stack hight to be able to get this bike to move with me on it. I ended up around .45 ish

Yes, Do not ride it. That is the fastest way to kill a clutch. The bikes aren't made to handle anyone over about 80lbs. Weighing more than that will kill the clutch faster than you read this.

Not a joke, this is 100% true. You need a pint-sized test pilot.

Thanx guys,
I just went to the end of the driveway and back...lol
What is was curios about was the washer stacks.....found a note in the bottom of the box after I was all done....that said "we recommend using the extra washers" not the ones the come in the clutch.....so is it possible that the ones that come in it are that different from the others?
