A co-worker has a 2009 KLX140L Monster Edition for sale (although, she says it's a "KX140L", is there a difference?) It is in mint condition with only a few hours on it. About how much is it worth? I didn't find much useful info on the internet about them. Are they strong enough for trail-riding with a 210-pound rider? Sorry for my ignorance, I havne't even heard of a KLX140L before this. Thanks for any help!

It's a simple 4t. Like a TTR125. The "monster edition" is just all black. The "L" designation is for "large wheel".
Worth? $1000-$1600
If I'm correct they make like 14hp. They will haul you around but they are not a full size bike. The suspension is quite soft and kinda out of date.
As a casual trail bike I don't think they will have enough for what your looking for.

Thanks for the info. I have a CRF450R for track and a YZ250 for trails so I figured for the right price I could just play around with the KLX. As long as it has enough power to move around on. Is it more like a pit bike??
