Ok, so I had heard that the River City HS was going to be held at Straddleline this year and even thought I saw it on thier calendar at one point. Now, i see its not on the calendar and the flyer on the NMA website says its back at the Ranch... anyone know for sure?

What is the terrain like at the Yak Ranch? Is there any mx or endurocross sections? Also, what is the camping area like? Will I have any problems getting a travel trailer in there?

Camping is a large flat grass field or at least it was last year. No MX, but there is a water crossing if you rode long course last year and both course went over a boulder pile. The terrain is variable, but overall I would say hard pack.

Well that was fun... for the 300ft that I got to race..
If anyone has pictures of the short course start and the idiot (I'm the idiot) that crashed I'd like to see it.
Went down hard, don't remember getting back on the bike and riding part of a lap until Taft M. pulled me off.

I don't have any pics, but I am glad you are okay, I was watching from the side you went down on and it looked nasty!

I was filming the first 3 starts then i was focused in on my son in the last row when you went down. Very glad to hear you are ok.
FYI my kid got 3rd in the 15&under.He lost his shift lever on the 2nd or 3rd lap and finished the race in 3rd gear! He did 6 laps

Not sure if anyone on here caught the second kids race, but my son led 15/17 laps that him and his best buddy Ryder raced and then he went down in a corner and it was all over. It was an epic battle for about 25 minutes they were with 10 or less meters of eachother. My son was TOTALLY bummed he crashed, but I told him that's racing. I can't wait to see how they both ride at the next few rounds.
Here they are with my son leading and Ryder close behind.

Ktm: my buddy caught your crash on his gopro. I'll let you know if he puts it up on YouTube.
