Maybe a 93? Specify how old you "think" it is. Like 90's 80's. If it's 90's it's most likely a 93.

I can;t help you then, usually it goes by the first 2 or last 2 numbers on the engine in which case it would be a 93. But if your saying it looks like a 79 then no chance it's a 93. Post a picture maybe?

NOT a 93, much older.. I know they changed the shock setup in the mid-late 80s. My guess is a mid to late 70s model. As for exact year, I suggest you check out Bikepics.com and start comparing pictures. Good luck!

That would be a 78, 79 or 80 RM125 the 1978 was the first year for the aluminum swingarm and 1980 was the last year for the twin shocks . In 1981 Suzuki went to a single shock full floater system.
Hope this helps some at least it gets you a lillte closer to the correct year.

Definetly a 78 thru 80 model I used to have a '80 and I would say by the shape of the gas tank it's very likely it is a 79 or 80 model which where nearly the same bike. It's definetly not any newer then that the '81 model went liquid cooled and to a single shock setup.  I believe those shock resivoir hoses should be running behind the frame tubes not in front like they are now in those pics.
