so i rode 9000 with the 15-38 sprockets on my 07sm, which means my mileage on my odometer is wrong? correct??
is there a website that can give correct mileage or anybody know how to do the conversion?

Since the speedo pick up is on the front wheel, changing gearing would not affect the speed sensor. On the other hand, the factory speedo is usually off a little anyways so that may account for some change. I know that at any speed indicated on the computer, I am doing about 3-5 mph under that.

To make it worse, I have heard that even though our factory speedo is off the odometer it is actually accurate for mileage.

I'm pretty sure odometer is in front wheel so gearing shouldn't have any effect.  Front wheel size however will.

You may have done way more, depending on how much riding you do on the "rear wheel only".....

With the stock computer, although you cannot adjust the speed without changing pick up but you can still calibrate the odometer.
Go out with one of your friend for a long ride and calibrate it. if you get a different height front tyre or as your front tyre wear your odometer will not work properly.

You can adjust the standard computer for a percentage of actual miles done , you didnt accidentally press the wrong button ? I know I did , that is how I found out about this function , greg
