Took it riding today, it runs great! I have to say, I'm pretty happy with this bike so far :thumbsup:

Your getting sucked into the vortex already... you will have to dump money into it if your anything like me. I always pick bikes up with the intent of making them mechanically sound and calling it quits. $500- 1000 or so later I figure I might as well go all out and make it how I want it.

im thinking about buying a used yz250f but everyone tells me not too but then when i see threads about getting used 250f they all good! hmmmm

If I was gonna buy a used 250f it would be a Yamaha. Most bulletproof thumpers on the market. Both 250s and 450s. Juss sayin.

Sorry, I already sold them. The white plastics that came on it are for sale in the classified section though.

So it's been a while since I have updated this thread. I rode this bike twice a week for the last 6 weeks, then I put her on craigslist last night.

I got a call on it this morning, the guy came and looked at it tonight, and it is now in a new garage. I'm pretty happy with this, I was able to ride it for about 13 hours and I still turned a pretty good profit. On to the next project I suppose.
