Since my last service of fork seals the cap on the right leg has been leaking oil. The o-ring is probably damaged somehow. Anyway I'm looking up the p/n for this and can't find anything close to a o-ring in this location on the parts diagram... Can anyone help me with that? Its for a 48 mm fork on a 2009 SX 250. Its not the inner cap o-ring but the one that seals the cartridge with the outer tube.

No one ever had this problem? That's surprising. I guess I'll have to patch it up with silicone.

I measured the o-ring, it matches the fork diameter of 48mm. The only corresponding part is 46810016. I took out the ring and cleaned it, there was a bit of crud which may explain the leak... I'll take the bike for a spin to see if it holds up.

It's still funny that the part doesn't show up on any diagram... Hope my findings come in handy for someone having this issue.

Mine is actually leaking too, well I think it's leaking, there's oil caked onto the fork at the bottom. But it's a Devol suspension, so I figured i'd have to bring it in somewhere because I currently know absolutely nothing about front forks. I hope your forks are fixed!

It's holding up pretty well! The o-ring wasn't damaged so it must have been the crud that caused the leak. Be sure to clean the fork properly before servicing the seals ;-) I may have botched the job a bit last time I did it, but surprisingly its the longest I've done on seals to date, it's the first time I used them but I can say that Tusk seals are way better than KTM's.
