Anybody wanna go? All levels are welcome (except Wanker level 0)
I need to get a new sticker and I need to start working back into HS shape.
I would be at my usual spot at my usual time.
Don :)

Are you going to race some HS, or just getting back into shape?
My cast is off, I am supposed to wear my splint two more weeks, then I am cleared to ride.  I cannot make it this weekend, but am hoping to ride w/e of Aug 18/19.

Glad to hear it.  With HS 1 cancelled, and I am not able to make HS 2 and HS 3, I will see you at the end of October for HS 4 (AC/MC).

Yeah... they are doing Day passes for $15, they have been doing it since May. Makes total sense especially for for the Folks that only ride there once in a while & those that come from out of State.

IMO they should have been doing this all along. It'll be interesting to see if it makes more money for them.

Well, they definitely got some rain. I have never seen so many people their that early (had to wait a bit to get my new sticker). Lots of FTR folks at their usual spot and lots of bikes at my hangout spot.
Trails
East side trails are crap,, seems the Qtards have encroached on my favorite old one (double orange paint spot trail)
West side there are some new ones that criss-cross the old orange arrow trail and then a new FTR half arrow sticker trail.

On a side note I did find an area that I have been looking for which has some steep off camber sections (used to be off the double orange trail?) so that was a plus.

There was some clown (#315 on a Honda) that was just running up and down -fast speed on the west side trails that caused you to be leary at major trail crossings.

Don

With all the rain lately ONF is where it is at, east of 19!,

Hey Don, My brother wants to race the woods class at Bostwick on Sunday. What kind of turnout are you expecting there? Think anyone will be in his class?

I raced the FTR Woods class the last season they had MX.  Won the class.  Not many people showed up.  I hope they get a good turnout for the series.  I had planned on being there but a big crash on Memorial Day at Thundercross has kept me sidelined this summer.  gonna try and do a "easy" trail ride this weekend to see how it goes.

QF,
I think there will be a BIG turnout overall (I could be wrong but I think there are a lot of people that have been having an itchiness problem lately,  including me).
As for any FTR MX race in past seasons you can never guess how many people are going to ride any one class (I seem to recall that the Woods class had "on average" about 4-5 riders).

I never thought of this but I have a WOODS bike now (I think I do) so Icould ride that class (don't tell ya brother  ). Yeah that's the ticket!!!!
Don't worry I'll be riding the old ass class +50

Don

QF,
Back in 2000/2001 there was this frikkini' crazy son o bitch that showed up at Bithlo riding and jumping a DRZ400. And man you should have seen the faces of the regualr MX guys. The guy never wrecked and was actually pretty decent on the DRZ.
I think his name was Don!!!!!
Crazy ass dude.
Don

btw, I didn't kow about Hard rock back then or else I would have been there done that.
