I would think the ski shape has a lot more to do with the darting on the trails than a steering stabilizer would correct for.

Checked this out yet?  http://www.timbersle...accessories.htm

Also keep in mind a ski isn't ever going to be a completely "universal", do-everything ski.  Performance in one application means sacrifices in another.

Between that special ski and the stabilizer I think it should help ALOT.

Thanks for the link. That does look like what I was thinking of.  Why my kit didnt come with it?  If it is so much better why even sell a kit with the other?  Upsell the acc. I guess.  no one ever said snow sports are cheap. $450 for Scotts stab and $400 for a ski...   I will wait to hear some feed back on the ski first but it does look better.  lol oh yea it is mountainhorse!

All 2013 and newer kits will come with the new TS 10" tri-keel ski.  And I would disagree with Snow Mule just a BIT.... this ski, so far, as been better than the old ski in every condition.  The only downside I could see is dirt riding to get to snow in the late spring.

I have a snow bike but it is a 2moto kit. I have a stabilizer on mine and it helped a lot. It is not a scotts but made a huge difference. Much easier to hold a line and much more relaxed riding experience.

Had a chance to ride some of the TS kits this weekend and the Ski doesn't dart on old tracks at all. Works great and from what I could tell, the only advantage to a stabilizer/Damper would be for if/when you hit something nasty under the snow, like a stump or Rock and that's just to save your shoulders/elbows. In regular riding conditions, I wouldn't bother. One of the bikes we rode had one and I couldn't see any difference at all between with and without one.
