Hi everyone,

so i just bought a 2001 yz250f as its a green sticker 250cc bike (i live in california)  i have not ridden in 2 years before that i was racing outdoor mx (begginer) on a 426 then a kx450  those bikes did a doozy on me and would fatigue me badly, due to my weight (im working on this i used to be 340) my local shop told me they would not setup my bike saying they will never be able to get it right for me..???!!

i know it can be done so if any one has suggestions please let me know. i am looking for a setup that i can trail ride mostly but can take some whoops on hill climbs and the occasional mx day no big jumps i do not jump more then a 35 foot table top and  and never plan on doing more or jumping any double that larger then a small roller..  i am a beginner racer even tho i have been riding for 10 years my brain wont let me go faster

is this to much to ask? i know its one or the other i am just looking to have my suspension on the barely softer side for trail but take a decent hit if i come up short on a table top jump

i live in the bay area california if there any any suggestion on a shop to take it to please let me know or if some one could tell me all the parts i need to buy and what oil ect i wouldn't mind trying to rebuild my self or telling the shop do exactly this! lol   any help is greatly appreciated

Maybe there a lousy shop!
Call Dave j at smart performance inc.
You can send it to him or he can send you everything you need.
Also you don't need just a revalve but springs for sure.

Most people.will say stock valving is bad for slow and fast guys. Horrible for offroaders.
Rebound valving needs to match the spring. And comp valving depends terrain/ability/style/prefrence.
