Looking at getting this muffler,it has a hole about the size of a quarter i the mid pipe toward the end where it connects to the header. Is this fixable? I don't know if the mid pipe slips on or is welded. Also it a from an 05 and mine is an 02,so my thoughts are to possibly get an 02 id pipe ad weld it on to the muffler would this work?

Are you welder? Ever weld stainless steel? Personally I'd look around for one that fits your bike and is in better condition.

Not absolutely positive but I think the mid-pipe is different between an 02 and 05. On an FMF the muffler and midpipe are one piece so that would mean you'd have to cut the midpipe off and find one that fits and weld it on the muffler. I rarely see just midpipes separately for sale. You can try and use your stock midpipe. If you have $30-$40 to spare then you can try it. Just beware once you cut your stock midpipe off and can't get it welded then your bike is going to have to sit there until you find a whole exhaust to put on there.
