So I thought I would do an early morning ride but I think i might have to push this to early afternoon. If anyone is up for meeting in the Pine Valley lot around noon and riding about 50+miles between the Pine Valley lot cul de sac and Corral then I might still be a taker. Otherwise, catch you on the next run.

Thats alot trips back and forth on Bear Valley...

I think it's about 17 miles from the PV lot to Four Corners. So that's 34 miles right there if you don't detour along the way. Then blast around the trails from Four corners for a bit and then back to the lot. So 50 miles is pretty average unless me or a buddy take a digger or break down like what happened to my friend on the last trip. So i only got about 38 miles in that day. This morning would have been perfect after the rain....... Mostly cloudy morning keeping it on the cool side, probably still tacky.....dang it. Had to unclog a drain though so duty calls. Sucks when my day off is messed up with lame chores that cost me money. Whatever......now i'm just gonna chill by the pool and throw back a few beers. Probably give this another try two weeks from now. I have every other Friday off.

I'm in for an early morning ride Friday 8/17/12. Meet at PV lot, Four Corners, or McCain??? Sat and Sunday are looking tough for me but pretty sure I can do a Fri ride. Early morning should be pretty darn nice!!! Maybe a drop or two of moisture tomorrow to make it just right???

Going to Pala today to ride for a couple hours or maybe about 5 or 6 laps till I get arm pump...lol.

Should be there for at least 3 hours, need to get more seat time! Season is almost upon us!

Definitely looking to do an early AM ride at Pine Valley.  Even a dual sport out of Pine Valley, or thru Pine Valley, or Bear Valley or Cuyamacas/Laguanas.    I took the day off, I'm gonna ride

Looks like you guys did some exploring and hiking, lol.

Careful riding off trail, the rangers out there will try and impound your bike for that....there is some really good stuff off the beaten path though, the better stuff IMO.
Last time I was out in the boonies in PV I had a frigging Helicopter following me for about 20 minutes!  Thought I was being tracked and was going to have Ranger dan waiting to try and enforce the law on me.

All these rides in Cleveland NF?  I'd be in for a weekend ride sometime, probably not an early one though just too far away.

Yes they are, however they are tight and blind corners everywhere with no directional signs.  Weekends are a head on crash waiting to happen, I do not go on weekends ever just for that reason, unless you start riding at 6am.

Your available time is going to make for some dangerous riding, weekends can get crowded and I even see some quads from time to time, if you hit them, I think they are going to get the best of you, lol.
