I have a 2008 crf250r and the front fork seals are busted and leaking, i was wondering if anyone could tell me how much it would cost to fix it or if i could do it myself.

Easy to do.I just did my sons for the first time. Was hesitant at first but after seeing what a shop charges I decided to do it myself and glad I did.Hopefully you have the Honda manual because thats a must have.Pretty much walks you through it.You'll need a few special tools that the book suggests but the Honda tools are expensive. There are aftermarked ones that are a lot cheaper and I mean a lot.Instead of a fork seal tool to set the seals I used the duct tape method. Why pay $45 for the tool when a trip to the Dollar Store only cost a buck and worked great.Only took about 45 minutes to do both and you will learn a lot about how suspension works.Definately do it yourself.I spent less that $100 not including the manual.Shop was $300.Now I have pride in that I did the forks myself.

yea don't go to the shop they charge like 200 for something that takes less than an hour, you might need to get special tools though, but they will save you in the long run! good luck!
