HELP?

alright i wanna buy a new quad but i dont know what to get. i want somthing for woods/around the farm. i was thinking a yfz450 but i heard its like 2 grand a year to rebuild it? and im looking for a green sticker quad so 2002 and older. so i was thinking about a banshee. or even a 400ex but i dont want somthing i will get bored on.. im 16 6ft tall and 200lbs so any advice? thanks.

if you want something 2002 and older, you cant get a yfz450. they came out in 2004. as for the 2k a year to rebuild, thats complete crap. dont rebuild it unless you need to. i know people who have rebuilt their quad once and bought it new like 10 years ago. and for just riding around the farm not doing anything too rough, id go with a utility quad. whats the fun of a race quad if you cant open er up every now and then??????? the 400ex came out in 1999 but i wouldnt get one unless it was 2002 or newer. just a thing i got with quads. and banshees are cool but unless your gonna ride it hard you will be disappointed. if your dead set on a sport quad i reccomend opening up a little and getting an LTZ400. they can be found for ~1500 dollars or less and they are newer than 2000.

i live on 40 acres with fields just for riding in. so im not just gonna be putting around. and 2002 or older is so i can green sticker it.. and i dont like utility quads. dont feel safe jumping or hillclimbing with them lol

California's way of screwing dirt bike and kwad riders over. Basically it means that the machine operates at a "legal" emission output in California.
