I know my bike isn't a Yamaha, but I know you guys with YZ400/426s have had some experience with these units.

I ordered one and just attempted to install it on my '05 RMZ450. I could not get it to screw into the carb for the life of me. It's as if it's stripped. The stock hot start gives me no issues either putting it in or taking it out.

Do I have a faulty/stripped unit, or am I missing something?

Got it on, had to take the carb right off the bike, contrary to what the instructions say. There was no way there's enough room in there with it on the bike. Maybe on the steel framed YZs there would be.
