This bike has been sitting in the barn for 20-25 years, my friend and i pulled it out and into the garage to fix her up. New plug, air filter, gas, radiator fluid, and pulled it off and now it starts in 1-3 kicks every time. One problem: it has almost no powerband. Its fast as lightning at open throttle because its been bored out, just no powerband. Im guessing its because it has no more engine compression? The carb insulator boot is dry rotted, is that the problem? The reeds are good, had them looked at. Please be detailed and specific, im new to being mechanic on them. Thank guys.[/size]
