Word on the street is that Sand Hill Ranch MX did not renew their permits for their MX track, and will be closed indefinitely.

I know they didn't prep the track very well, but it was so close to my house and open 7 days a week it really didn't matter.

Interesting.....

With the fire at Stonyford, I just started thinking about riding some track again so I called the numbers for Sandhill I had on Monday and 1 was disconnected (figured it was Phil & Renees #) and the other one I got no answer; it just rang and rang.

I just called again and no answer.  I live nearby so I might drive by in next couple days to see what's up.

I am the lawyer who represents the new owners of the Sand Hill Ranch property. The property was sold by the Contra Costa County Sheriff to satisfy a legal judgment against the former owners of Sand Hill Ranch.

My client expects to sell the property. But until a new owner is in place, the facility is closed to the public and no one is authorized to enter the property or conduct any motocross or other activities on the property. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you for the heads up....I guess I will have to sack up and drive a bit further to Argyll and Club Moto now.

Looks like I may never get to ride Sand Hill Ranch.  So much for thinking "Aww, it will always be there."

I'm too old for Club Moto and Argyll wasn't that fun.
