Down in Baja last week my stocker battery let me down. The terminal posts wiggled and snapped leaving my without my beloved magic button.

I searched the options and ordered an Alien Motion 8 cell LiPo. Paid $99 I received it 4 days later!

1.2 lbs, came with impact foam to get the fit snug and is a postless design. Installed it with a little trimming of the battery mount lid. Serious crank, light weight and love the solid connection.

They look like the ballistic battery...

The website recommends the 4 cell for up to 600cc machines. Why did you go for the 4 cell?

I went 8 cell because it was such a minimal weight increase and size was not an issue.

Better overpowered than under. Just my opinion.

A little correction. This battery is not the unstable LiPo compound, it is actually LiFePO4, or Lithium Ferrous (Iron).

Did  you use the foam case? I have mine installed without the case & wasn't able to use the OEM battery cover. The seat presses down on it so I guess its OK. Also I ordered with positive on right instead of left & I was having a fit connecting the terminals until I realized the positive would reach even with the battery switched around. But the battery really cranks. Fast delivery also.

I used just a little piece of the supplied foam. I also had to do a little trimming of the cover to make it all fit correctly....luckily I ordered the correct post positions. (I actually called them to verify then ordered online) They were stoked that I gave a good review of their product here on TT
