Hi I'm new here especially with 450cc 4 stroke mx bikes, got this on a trade love the power but I need to set it up for some woods/trails, I saw the 08 models were equipped with a heavier flywheel to help smooth the abrupt wheelie action mine has lol.. Do you think puttin a 08 flywheel on my07 will help much ? I also want to run 51 tooth rear sprocket to help slow 1st gear down as it seems very fast to me and no I do not have the money for a rekluse  clutch

Any help would be much appreciated
Thanks

I agree with getting an aftermarket flywheel...
putting a 51 tooth sprocket on the rear Will help your first gear a bit, but it will make the bike way more snappy than it already is

bump on the heavy flywheel weight.   might want to look into evans coolant or engine ice mine would get alittle warm in tight stuff. If you are riding gncc type trails the bike is a ton of fun just in real technical stuff it was tuff to keep wheelspin down and not stalling.  I  also wanted to try a recluse but with mixed reviews on them just couldnt justify the money for something I might not like. good luck with yours.  I would get the suspention set up before i messed around with recluse.

Rekluse would be the best option, but they are pricey if you on a budget. You can get OEM heavier flywheels so you dont need to have weights added to your original one .
I wouldnt recommend a 51 sprocket if you are already having problems with the power as it will be a lot more snappy , rather change to a 48 to smooth the power out.
