I bought a 06 TE510 that I love..Ride it every day.It has already payed for itself with the money that my ramcharger guzzels in fuel...I live about 6 miles out of town on a curvy canyon road,so I am always lookin forward to my next trip to town.Ive put a ScaryFast intake on it,Changed up the jet,Tied up the accelarator pump, all the cheap simple mods that ive got from this site and droped five teeth from the rear sprocket.....Let me tell you This bike HAULS ASS!  My trip counter has logged 84 mph and that was plenty for me...sow heres my question. When i got the bike ,I heard it run and putted it down the guys street .I was satisfied!Gave the guy what he was asking and went home a HUSKY MAN.Well it turned out that there was a dent in the back wheeel that I chalked up to second hand blues,But not gonna get me down.I started lookin arund for a rim .I figured what the heck it couldnt hurt to try and see if I had what it took too lace that sucker up.And if not pay sombody ,No big deal!Anyway I ended up getting a new machined Hub,Spokes,Rim ,And a tire for 300 bucks. Then the guy throws a slotted disk and a 45 tooth sproket in for 50 more.Im thinkin hell ya! Not only a great deal ,but I didnt have to deal with th spokes...Well,it ended up that someone had put this wheel together but hadnt trued it.Anyway I got my chance afterall .I made a stand, and in no tyme I had it pretty damn strait ...At this point I had come this far with this wheel that was kinda tricked out and strait. It seemed the only thing that could make it better was one of the TU Bliss system and Perrelli ....The original rim had the stem and the lock opposet each other... First ive ever seen like that. The new wheel has the lock and the stem sorta on the same sideof the wheel wich Ive always wonderd why...WHY?I realize the tubliss people dont recomend it for hiway use but even in the dirt dosent it seem like that wheel should be as balanced as possable?I have over an ounce of weightson the spokes opposite the rim lock and I still slightly feel a vibration at cruzing speeds...Am I missing something here?should I drill a third hole in my wheel and move the lock?Or or or what?I got a pretty sweet bike ,with a pretty sweet wheel and the fact that it is out of balence is not something that i want to except...

Wow, long story for a very common thread!  do a search to get a good answer!

A lot of people run two rim locks opposite each other!

I would drill a third hole opposite the hole you are using and install a second rim lock, especially on a 610 !  Yeah, more hassle to install, but its a bigger hassle to get a flat at any speed from a torn valve stem.
