For those of us AZ guys, Speedworld is in the midst of a lawsuit. The county wants to close them down because they didn't get the right permits for a few buildings and drainage. I HIGHLY encourage everyone to write to all of the county members listed and show your support for the track. We already lost Grinding Stone to a lawsuit, we don't need to lose another one. I wrote a huge e-mail to all the people listed on that page already.

I believe that when the owner went to apply for an electrical permit, they realized that they had failed to do permits for other work in the past. So trying to do the right thing, by getting a permit, is what did them in.

One of the missing permits was for drainage. I mean seriously, drainage, on a motcross track, in the middle of the desert.....I don't think anyone cares.

that is stupid. i live like 5 min from speedworld and nobody out here cares what they do. at least not my neighbors. i hope they get this worked out. it would be a shame to have  the place shut down. it is a good place to take the kids
