Wonder how much longer we have on the Colorado before they ban them there?

This has been creeping around for several years. AWA and others have been fighting it but it is a losing battle. I am surprised that skis like the Super Jet with it's two stroke were still in the Yamaha 2012 line up.
It is one thing to be banned from selling them in the U.S. and letting us use what is there but tomorrow your lake that allows them today may deny it tomorrow.
There are a bunch of third party motor manufacturers and hull makers right here in the U.S. that will suffer from this as well.
Not to get political but so much for creating and keeping jobs here in the U.S and building the economy. That will then trickle down to local repair shops as well and they will suffer when this all gets into full swing.

Yeah this kind of forces people into buying the 4 stroke skis (I won't be... I'll ride mine until they ban them on the Colorado). Sucks for the used market, the DI skis are gonna skyrocket in price for a little while, and everything else will hold stable because of the colorado.
Honestly, when I go to lake Mohave I take the boat (not a fan of that lake, or Crapasu). You won't see too many people pissed off about it because it doesn't effect 2 stroke boats, only PWCs (as of now anyhow).
What I WOULD like to see is a ban on Jet ski / boat rentals. Won't happen because of the economic impact on Bullhead and the like but seriously...
