WHAT IS A BK MOD.AND ITS PURPOSE?

The BK mod refers to installing an adjusting screw which allows you to alter (shorten) the stroke of the accelerator pump on the Keihin Flat CR (’00 and later YZ/WRs only).

It got that name from this board as it was first described by factory pilot Tim Ferry’s mechanic, and his initials are BK.

Use the search function, BK is/was his user name and you can search by that, my name or James Dean and search terms “jetting” or “pump” and you will be inundated with carb tuning verbiage.
