Bike is a 96 350se with cv carb.
Just cut open the airbox and changed the main to a 137.5 and the pilot to a 40. Adjusted the air screw to 1-1/2 turns. My question is, I had one of these bikes a couple of years ago and also did the aftermarket exhaust when I did the uncorking/rejetting. I'm still running the stock exhaust, do I need to adjust any of the jetting/air screw setting when using with the stock exhaust? It seems to have more power but feels a little flat. Any ideas on which way to go. I live in the St. Louis area(not sure of the elevation-not sea level but not above 2000 either)
Thanks,
Tom

Opening up your airbox usually requires richening all the circuits of your carb, not just pilot and main. Your needle needs to be raised to allow more fuel in. Lower the clip position to raise the needle or use small washers to shim it up.

Forgot to post that. I did raise the needle with 2 brass washers
. My needle doesn't have any adjustment, just a plastic bushing, added the washers on top of the bushing between the e-clip and the bushing, checked to make sure that it seated properly in the slide.
