hows it going, ive got a xr50 that ive built into a aftermarket pitbike. i put a 125cc engine onto the bike as well as a 22mm carb kit ive bought from piranha pit bike. ive narrowed the problem down to the carb because the engine is running fine as well as the electrical system. its extremely frustrating that i cant get the bike to stop bogging out on me, ive tried adjusting the idle screw but it doesnt work out. the carb is as big as an xr80 one, someone told me the air/fuel mixture is off? much help would be appreciated thanks

Try turning your fuel screw at the bottom of the carb all the way in until you feel resistance, then screw it out 2.5 turns, count your turns.

ive already tried all that, it will start up fine and then ride smooth for about five minutes and then all of the sudden it will bog out completely randomly. chokes off, electrical is fine, engine is brand new, so it has to be the carb. ive done the 2.5 turns out so idk what else to do and its starting to get to me. thats why i came on this for help

1)could have a drop of water in the float bowl , drain the float bowl with the drain screw
2)could be a bad stator see link
