If anything happens to Barcia I'm sure Roger will call the Alessi camp

And ask for Tomac's phone number

Dosh, I usually agree with alot of the stuff you say but your still leaving out the simple fact that Barcia is and will be faster than Mike. If Alessi doenst get a start you never see him coming through the pack.

I feel for Mike but Barcia is the faster rider. He also has the ability to come through the pack, and is proven on the 450. Its not like its a completely foreign bike to him.
im not leaving that out.  i have said that he can get it done and more than likely will.  he is no doubt fast but fast on a 250f doesn't = fast on a 450 every time.   yes barcia proved to be fast on the 450 last year for 4 rounds and was faster than mike then... but I'm saying mike was on the 11 ktm and it was waaaay diff than the rmz he is on now.  and he did go through the pack earlier this year.  he didn't go all the way to second but he did have to, so he can and has proved he can.   either pick will work.  i just have a problem on how it was decided cause mike is a 450 rider and barcia until sx is a 250f rider.  i like barcia, he is one of my fav riders, its just mike deserves it.  he has came along way and if it wasn't for his dumbass dad trying to control everything around him instead of just him (like mike needs i guess)  he would be there.    we will win either way!

The KTM of Dungey's didn't look too fun to ride in the sand last weekend

I think it needs a bigger gas tank

Or a gas cap that will stay on the tank

Herlings is probably the best sand rider in the world but he can't win the MXON by himself.
I called it... Some of you guys didn't believe it... Herlings is the best sand rider in the world!

Really? have you paid attention to MX2? he cannot keep Roczen in sight most of the time , and we all know where KR fits in the overall MXDN picture.

BTW the best sand rider is the world is RC,, then I would put RD right behind RC.
Like this guy!!!

no doubt about it.  He owned everybody.  He needs to get the hell out of there and get over here and make some money.  Or is he not so good on hard tracks?

I wonder, no I really wonder if you're right or it was the rider? If I had to bet they could have swapped bikes and had the same result. I haven't seen the race yet but that's my guess.

Riding a track you've ridden and love is also a pretty big advantage, no doubt that helped them.  But props to them, they won fair and square.

roger has said that they were fighting with setup a lot.  and even reed said it takes 2 weeks min to set up a bike for their tracks and sand is even worse.  just saying there prolly is a lot there.  doesn't matter.. we lost!  maybe that brilliant team manager should have known that?

Dungey has a sit down riding style and from what I saw of Herlings he was standing up the whole time. I have never seen a track that was so rutted and choppy

Everyone was having set up issues. Even Herlings 350 looked like shit in his qualifying race. His front end was HEAVY and it was obvious! He still smoked the field. Rd just rode like shit. Not much more to say.

Personally, I think Roczen would be faster than Herlings here but not by a lot.

it's really hard to say because I don't think Dungey was riding the track the way it needed to be rode.  He kept trying to run the inside lines which meant he had to slow too much for the corners.  When he slowed down the front end wallowed very badly.  Very similar to Barcia's due to the Honda chassis.  But then Dungey has a sit down early type of riding style in the corners and that didn't suit him well on that track.  Those guys should have just spooled it up and ran the wider lines like Herlings did.  Stand up nearly all the time.

Ive seen local pros at their home track run with big name pro riders. Herlings only proved he is the fastest sand rider that day at Lommel. (a place i understand he rides often.) If he is as bad a dude as he claims he is.. he will be begging for a ride in the states in the next couple years and floundering/ crashing his way around our tracks for 1-2 seasons...

actually, if he's as bad a dude as he thinks he is, the manufacturers will be paying him what it takes to come over here and ride.  I haven't heard that's happening.  So for now he's a legend in his own mind.  But he's still fast as hell on that track, can't take that from him.
