Idle screw is stripped

so i was riding the other day and i realized that my bike would not idle. it would just stall out so i went to adjust the idle screw but it was stripped and would not budge. i dont know if i should buy a new one or if a can even take it out of the bike. so does anybody know how to fix this? thanks

Start of by nailing it with some good anti-seize such as PB Blaster, and let us know if you can get it out. And YES you should buy a new screw!

yup probably frozen hit with PB blaster or another PENETRATING oil

when a screw gets stripped i take out my dremel and cut a new slot, then i replace that screw with torque or allen wrench type screw..
