I'll try to keep it short.

I have acquired a 2003 DR650 SE with only 3k miles. It was my wifes ex-husbands bike. He bought it new, with a prior girlfriend on the title. She isn't cooperative, so in the end, I can get no title for this bike. I live in PA, and do not possess the desire to have a 100% dirt machine that weighs 350lbs.

So, is it worth anything...to anybody? It's still practically new, and I've listed it on craigslist.

It's my goal to just trade it for a quad, or the funds to buy one.

Should I persist in trying to sell it, or go beat on it because it's worthless?

Don't know if you have any money in it, I assume so...Might be a tough lesson(always title in hand[signed of course],then play lets make a deal).

You can request a title from the state. This takes time and if "she" either reported it stolen or contest the title you can be out $$ and time or DCNR at your door. Bikes are worthless for most buyers without a title. That bike is worthless because it's a street bike well before it's a dirt and you need a title for the plate.
