At this point why not make the tracks harder, and give the AMA and Feld Ent. they're pound of flesh. the last man still "alive" wins, just cut to the chase and go gladiator. Come on ! that will be much more fun to watch over hot dogs and beer. Imo

Injury Report Red bud


Brett Metcalfe – Broken Tibia and Dislocated Wrist
Comment: Metcalfe went over the bars when his bike ran out of gas in a rhythm section at Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California. Metcalfe underwent surgery for his injuries and is out for the season.
Kyle Cunningham – Injured Ankle
Comment: Cunningham did further damage to an already injured ankle when he hooked a rut with his boot at Budds Creek. There is no timetable on his return.
James Stewart – Hurt Wrist
Comment: Stewart injured his hand/wrist in a first-moto crash at Thunder Valley. He attempted to race at High Point, but experienced numbness in his wrist several laps into the first moto. Stewart will return to racing this weekend at RedBud.
Christian Craig - Wrist Problems
Comment: Craig sat out most of the Western Regional Supercross Lites rounds after opting to have surgery to fix lagging problems stemming from a broken wrist he suffered last year at Southwick. He is planning on returning at RedBud.
Myles Tedder – Shoulder
Comment: Tedder tore his shoulder in a nasty crash at Budds Creek. He underwent surgery and will miss the rest of the season. For a photo sequence of the crash, take a look at Tedder’s Twitter account: @mxmyles.

Tyla Rattray - Broken Metacarpal
Comment: Rattray broke his hand at Hangtown, and has since had it plated. He is scheduled to make his return this Saturday at RedBud.
Martin Davalos – Concussion
Comment: Davalos suffered a concussion while practicing for Thunder Valley, and will not be racing at RedBud.
Ashley Fiolek – Concussion
Comment: Fiolek suffered a concussion when she crashed during the second moto at Thunder Valley, which forced her to sit High Point out. Fiolek is scheduled to race at RedBud.
Tommy Hahn – Broken Finger
Comment: Tommy Hahn broke his finger at Thunder Valley and will not be racing at RedBud. Hahn is hoping he’ll be back racing at Millville.
Justin Bogle - Injured Knee
Comment: Bogle has been battling an issue with his knee since the Toronto Supercross, and underwent minor surgery to have it taken care of. Bogle is hoping to be back in action at RedBud.
Amanda Maheu - Torn Labrum
Comment: Maheu’s injuries will keep her out of competition for the rest of the year.
Taryn Covington – Broken Collarbone
Comment: Covington is out for several weeks after suffering a broken collarbone at Freestone.

Jessie Wharton – Broken Collarbone
Comment: Wharton is out for several weeks after suffering a broken collarbone at Freestone.
Darryn Durham - Dislocated Shoulder and Torn Labrum
Comment: Durham injured his shoulder practicing before the start of the outdoor season and is out for roughly three months.
Jarred Browne - Nerve Damage
Comment: Browne had surgery to repair a pinched nerve in his elbow that had been causing his hand to go numb since New Orleans. Browne expects to be back racing by RedBud.
Dean Wilson - Injured Shoulder
Comment: Wilson attempted to race Hangtown with a shoulder injury sustained in supercross, but it didn’t work out. Wilson will undergo surgery, and is likely to miss the rest of the outdoor season.
Ryan Sipes - Cracked Hand
Comment: Sipes rebroke his hand in SLC when Jason Anderson ran into the back of him on the start of the parade lap. Sipes now has a plate and screws in his hand, and will be racing all of the outdoor rounds, despite massive swelling in his hand after every race.
Cole Seely - Ruptured Kidney, Lacerated Liver and Whiplash
Comment: Seely crashed hard in SLC and while there is not an exact timetable on his return, he is expected to miss most of the outdoor season.
Ryan Villopoto - Knee Injury
Comment: Villopoto will sit the remainder of 2012 out after suffering a torn ACL in Seattle.

Bryce Vallee - Lacerated Liver and Kidney, Two Broken Femurs, Three Pelvic Fractures, Shattered Left Elbow with Radial Nerve Damage, Fractured Collarbone and Multiple Fractures in Lower Spine
Comment: Vallee suffered a horrible crash while leading a race at Pala Raceway. After being landed on  multiple times, he was airlifted to Palomar Hospital and underwent two surgeries, with rods inserted in both femurs and three plates and 33 screws used to repair the left elbow. After multiple surgeries, a month in the hospital and much hard work and therapy, Bryce is now walking again much to the surprise of his doctors. With the help of Eddie Casillas of Asterisk Medical and Charles Dao of ICON Sports, here is a video of Bryce walking for the first time on May 30th at the ICON facility in Murietta, less than 2 months after the crash. PJ Larsen - Foot and Knee Injury
Comment: In Toronto, Larsen went down hard during practice in a rhythm section, sustaining injuries to his knee and foot. It is unlikely that Larsen will return to racing in 2012.
Jimmy Decotis - Torn ACL
Comment: Decotis crashed while practicing and tore his ACL. The injury effectively takes Decotis out of action for the rest of the year.
Chad Reed - Broken Tibia and Fibula, Broken Ribs, Broken T6 Vertebrae and a Torn ACL
Comment: Although Reed’s recovery is nearly complete, his injuries will likely keep him out of competition until 2013.
Ryan Morais - Broken Jaw, Several Fractured Vertebrae, Collapsed Lung, Concussion and Broken Ribs
Comment: Morais will not return to racing in 2012.
Trey Canard - Injured Back
Comment: After a terrible crash in Los Angeles, Canard was released from the hospital on January 29 and was able to return home. Canard plans on making his return to racing in 2013.

plus the majority happened during practice not in race environments. spend enough time on a dirt bike and you will crash, crash enough times and sooner or later the injury will be severe.

you say that tc and rm are rider error... i don't know how i feel about that?.?.?   tc made a mistake but wasn't it cause of the tough block?  and rm jumped the obstacle and landed on tc who wouldn't be there without the tough block.

It was a cluster from the begging. But a triple is a triple. To blame that on the track would be dumb.

agreed. but i also wouldn't blame either rider. it just happened!  this is like the 3rd or 4th dumb post about this. tracks evolve and they should with susp.  they are just as safe as they were before... ITS
