KX FI calibration kit from 2010 work on 2012?

Hello,
Will my calibration kit from a 2009/2010 KX450F work on the 2012 KX450F or do I have purchase some 2012 software or a new ECU controller?

I just did some tuning on a 2011 kx250f and borrowed the kit from the local dealer and it had a connector that would fit the 2010 - 2012 450f.
software should be the same, although I had heard you have to install on the 2012 the mid chip and tune from there.
