I have a little spending money and I'd like to maybe flip a bike for a little profit.  This CR looks pretty damn clean for its age and is only 20 minutes from my house.  What should my top dollar be to try and make maybe $300 from it?  Like $1500 or so?

if you could get that bike for $1.5k you might be able to sell it for $2. LIke third reef says we are talking CA prices though. youd kind of have to judge your own market. think about it this way though, if the guy is having issues selling it for $2k, what makes you think you wont run into the same problem?

If you can sit on it for a while, buy it now and wait til tax return time to sell. You can find bikes cheap this time of year and just watch Craigslist around tax time...bikes outrageously priced are sold in no time. I've flipped a bike for a nice profit several times by doing this.

Nice bike...but not one you can easily make money on...Id say worth $1500-2000 depending on what its really like when you get there. But thats all its worth and unless you get it for less than 1500 which would be a steal, I dont think it would be worth trying to resell for more, cause the guy who comes to get it will probably want you to cut down the price a bit.
