I checked out a 13 450 at a local shop today. I would assume if the 450's are shipping that the 250's would too no?

everyones gotta get over the plastics and graphics from factory... that should never be an issue. who gives a crap what they look like from factory? you dont like the rear fender then fork out 20 bucks and put a yellow one on there. no company (besides KTMs special 2012.5) will put graphics on a bike or spend more money on colored rims unless its a special model (white YZF). all kawi does is powdercoat stock wheels and it rubs off and looks like crap after a couple rides.
they would never have gone SFF if it didnt work better than the previous forks, plain and simple.
as for the 5lbs i have NO idea where that came from, the beefed up trans would add some weight but not 5lbs. im feelin like thats a typo... or maybe its in the forks and different shock. who knows.

Just read an article saying that the motor mounts are steel now and that they changed the linkage bolts from 12mm to 14mm to make it more rigid. ( 1.5 lbs maybe ). And if you look at transworlds first impression ( first ride ) of the new rmz 250, you will see in the video that the shifter has a new bend to it, and it's a bit longer, and that the tranny has a completely different feel to it and is also very smooth and positive.
