So they finally fixed or attempted to fix the tranny... Obviously it was a problem. If this bike got the second fuel injector i would say for sure i would get it, but i think i am still leaning towards the 2013 kx250f because i think it is still going to be the fastest 250 out there..

Suzuki.com . Just look at specs, 2012 = Curb Weight 230lbs     2013 = Curb Weight 235lbs

I don't think it looks any worse than last year, not necessarily better though. Plastics are a simple change and usually covered by graphics anyway. They need to get black inner forks and black rims like kawi

*NOT BEING A TROLL* Just stating my personal opinion. i think the bikes look hideous. the plastic colors do not flow what so ever. worst looking bike they have made to date. Suzuki hasn't been quite the feather either, so why add 5 more pounds to the 250f? that ruined sales for them. And, putting sff forks on the bike, when there are newer and better forks in production now, just doesnt make sense. a big step backwards on their part. they've been struggling to stay as a company for awhile now so this can't help that situation any...

Yeah who cares about the plastics??

I think that black color comes from the DLC coating..  I have a 2010 KX450f w Mods $3600 btw

While I don't disagree, I do think the bike will look better with black backrounds to match the rear more.  Also, I bet the SFF forks will end up being better than the comp air forks..but that is just speculation.  As for the 5lbs, I can't see where they added anything to cause it, if anything the new forks are a bit lighter.  Will have to wait for a proper shoot out to get the real info I assume.

To call the air forks better at this stage is very premature. Very. Gimme springs, I'll wait awhile.

The extra 5 pounds are the beefed up transmission parts!

Yea, i can't figure where the extra 5 pounds are either.

Watched the video on Suzuki's website....the 13 has 1 degree steeper rake with 10mm less trail.  (2012 is 30deg20' with 140mm trail...2013 is 29deg20' with 130mm trail).  Interesting.

i think suzuki is just flat out , out of ideas for this bike .... these 250f's just keep getting better and better and theres gonna come a point were theres not gonna be anything else to do to get them any more better then whats gonna happen? ( start 2 stroke comback for some years and make them better and better  )

Well I AM NOT a fan of the whole plastics arrangement. But I do like the upgrades they have done, transmission mostly. As for the extra 5 pounds, that is beyond me.

499 cc? did anyone notice that? haha

and black rims would have been a much nicer touch than a black rear fender. theres barely any yellow left on this thing

Such as? No other manufacturer is putting air fork on 250's and they are new to production bikes so who says they are going to be better than SFF?

Personally, I do not think the bike looks that bad and graphics will help the bike. Not sure why they went with a yellow front number plates and white rears? Kind of forces you into backgrounds. I prefer the yellow rear fender but Honda did the same thing with there bikes with white rear fender. I would not have minded seeing blue graphics and seat cover like on the 08's. I have an 11 that I think is awesome but would be interested in riding this with different cams to see how it compared. I think the forks will be good as long as the springs are correct for an average size rider. I would not buy anything with Air Forks on it. These could be like the 2010 YZ450, great in theory but in reality, they have some work to do make them great. Plus, being a novice rider, I do not want to be constantly messing with air pressure when I go to the track. I think Suzuki made some nice improvements to the bike without tossing out an already great bike and starting from scratch.

That's right. Why take the chances on the flagship bike only? I think the other reason is that those forks will need to be designed differently for the 250s.
