Hey guys i race the jday series in new england i dont know if any of you have heard of it, but its part trails and part mx track. of course new englnad has some of the rockiest trails around, espacailly after the pros tear everything up. I have a 2008 ktm 105sx the guy before me put 155 pound springs in the front and back. i weigh around 130lbs with gear. i have the stock springs. i was wondering what would be a good setup to start off with so i can be in the ball park and fine tune it myself. im just wondering what advice you experts have to help me in any way. thanks

My daughter has the same bike (85 though) and races HS. She is 130ish with stock springs up front and one size up on the shock. I would rate her as above average for her age and she loves the suspension setup. The biggest issue with the small bikes is the suspension is generally overlooked and not serviced. We haven't done anything special to the bike except replaced the stock water pump and water pump drive gear with the WMR1/Nihilo concepts billet parts. It was running on the hot side when we first got it, but the water pump eliminated that even when the rad is packed with mud.

I recently had it serviced and resprung for her weight. Set the sag and clickers are rider specific, so her settings won't help.
