Got an '08 crf150 r expert today!! Love the bike, but it's a little hard for me to start. I'm 5'2" and that's the problem. In general the bike starts well, after a kick or two, but I can't get the leverage due to my short inseam. If I stand on a 4x4 post I can do it fine. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can deal with this? I'm concerned about when I stall or stop while riding trails. I won't have access to my handy dandy post.

Buy small wheels, 1" drop, Kouba link and for trail riding soften the suspension.
Rukluse auto clutch and stop where you can start it.

I'm 5-3, w/a 29" inseam and have actually raised my seat (thicker foam) on my 08 RB... Since you just got the bike i suggest you ride it a few times before you spend money on stuff thats gonna end up on a shelf in the garage. I bet you'll adapt nicely
.
Have fun.

old_tri, I think you are exactly right! I Have only had it for a week and am already doing better at cranking it. I totally agree and think I'm just going to keep on keeping on the way it is for a while and see how well I adjust. Thanks!

Are you able to pedel it over rocks and stuff? If not, get a link. A bike that is too tall is harder to manage. That's why most pros cut their sub-frame and shave their seat, some run spacers in their suspension to lower it as well.

I haven't had a chance to ride her over real technical stuff, just some roots and deep sand. I did notice that I couldn't pedal through the sand as easy as I could on my TTR. I'm going to keep riding it the way it is to see how I do. It gets easier every time I ride.
